What engine does the car use?
The Hot Rod is ready to accept any of the small block Ford engines (289, 302, 351W) and the 4.6L.
Can I use a different engine?
To date, we have not built any ‘33’s with any other engines but anything can be done if you are able to make your own engine mounts and exhaust pieces.
What type of transmission does the Hot Rod use?The frame is ready to accept any of the following transmissions: T5, TKO, Tremec 3550/3650, AOD, and T56.
Can I purchase a completed Hot Rod?
We only sell the chassis and body kit parts. However, we do know of a network of small Hot Rod and Custom Shops that will inevitably build completed race and street cars for customers. E-mail us for a list of such businesses at enquiries@factoryfive.co.uk

Does the Hot Rod come with a top?
The hardtop is an optional item on the car. This option includes electric roll up windows and front and rear DOT glass.
Does the Hot Rod come with wings?
Front and rear wings including running boards are standard equipment on all UK spec cars. If you don't want them, tell us and we'll delete them and reduce the price accordingly.

How long does it take to build the car?
A good approximation minus body and paint work is 300 hours.
Does the Hot Rod have heat and air conditioning?
Air conditioning is available as an option.
