Build School

Every kit car company will tell you that their kit is well-engineered and is easy to build. We are the only ones who prove it. The Factory Five Build School at Mott Community College near Detroit, USA lets you and 11 other students build a Factory Five Roadster in three days! That is not an exaggeration. Every month, students gather at Mott Community College’s Livingston Campus to learn how to build a Factory Five. The instructors and school are completely independent from our company; we simply provide them with product as a sponsor.

The Challenge Car is mechanically similar, of course, so most aspects of the course will be perfectly relevant.

At the end of the three-day seminar you will know everything about the Factory Five design - we’ll even reimburse £250 of the school’s tuition of $699 towards the purchase of anyFactory Five component kit! The best part, however, is the learning curve. By practicing on the Build School car, you can learn, testing your skills along the way, without worrying about cheesing up your own car.

The Build School accomplishes several things.

  1. After three days you’ll know everything there is to know about building a Factory Five and whether or not this is a project you should consider doing.
  2. By building the car with other students, under the direction of professional instructors, you’ll learn tricks and tips that will make building your own car easier and allow you to do a higher quality job.
  3. You’ll have a great time and meet other like-minded guys. Each graduating class exchanges contact information and each graduate earns a Certificate of Completion (an awesome addition to your garage).

If you have any doubts about whether you have the skills to build your own Factory Five, or simply want to learn the principles of building a car from professional instructors, the Build School is a must BEFORE you buy your kit

£250 Rebate available with Build School Attendance

In support of Mott Community College's build school, we issue a £250 credit for all graduates of the three day course, towards the purchase of a Factory Five kit. Thisrebate cannot be offered once your kit has shipped, norcan it be combined with other offers, and unfortunately, only one rebate per kit order.

Mott Community College, a premier cross-cultural educational institution, is committed to provide the best quality education to individuals interested in getting a first-hand look at the Factory Five kit. In the process, the three-day build seminars provide students the practical experience of wrenching on someone else’s car prior to building their own. Additionally, the multi-faceted automotive instructors afford each student the expertise garnered through years of hot rod and educational experiences.

By working with Mott Community College, Factory Five again raises the bar for the component car industry as the only company offering the opportunity to build a car in the course of a weekend, at an accredited college. It is more than worth the $699 price of admission.
