This car has had many lives. It has served duty as a “spec” Challenge car in the early years of the FFR Challenge Series, it morphed into a “take no prisoners” super-unlimited class racecar, and most recently became a member of the 2006 Champ Car “Fast Laps” program. MORE>

The red and silver Challenge Series Racer shown here was built by FFR engineer Dave Riha. Dave races regularly in the FFR-NASA Challenge Series. He has won numerous races including the 2004 Charlie Gibson 300 Enduro (he finished second place in class in 2005). MORE>

Jim Schenck gave his Challenge car a slick paint job using the Nissan 350Z blue with Corvette Millennium yellow stripes. The engine is a stock 1988 Mustang 5.0 with a Tremec 3550 with a mid-shifter set-up. MORE>
