We have a Company that is single-minded in our passion for racing and performance and so safety is our daily religion. As racers we understand the importance of building safe designs. Among other things, safety is a combination of good engineering, correct materials, and careful construction.
We race cars. That means we understand that our equipment is sometimes the only thing that stands between ourselves and serious injury. Every single FFR kit is built with the images above in mind and the knowledge that in every FFR steel tube chassis will be carried a person whom is loved by someone, and whose value exceeds all financial measure.
The Mk3 is not a faithful replica of the original cars with respect to safety, rather It is a far stronger and safer design. The legends of the 60’s were built not only from racing victories but from tragedies as well. Our job is much easier today than it was for the racers of 30 years ago. Back then, many basic safety features were either not used or not available. We’ve added modern safety features that the original cars lacked.
